Anyone with a credit card can book a Capri yacht charter on a marketplace. What you receive is a Sunseeker 88, a captain who works for nine different charter companies that summer, and an itinerary that has been done a thousand times. A real VIP Capri charter is not about the boat — it is about the day. This guide explains what FFGR Italia delivers when our principals say 'I want to spend tomorrow on the water.'
The Boat Is the Last Decision
We curate from a fleet of 18 vessels based between Marina Grande Capri, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast — Riva Aquarama, Riva 38 Rivamare, Sanlorenzo SX76, Wally tender, Wajer 55. The choice depends on your day plan, not the other way around. A morning at the Faraglioni and Grotta Azzurra needs a tender (≤12m). A day Positano–Amalfi–Capri needs a 24m+ flybridge. A sunset Galli Islands cruise needs Wally for the wow.
We brief you with three options the night before. You pick. We deliver at Marina Grande by 9:30am.
The Ground Coordination Nobody Sells
The hardest part of a Capri charter is not the boat. It is getting from your villa in Anacapri to Marina Grande, where 5,000 day-trippers per hour are arriving from the same ferry terminal during peak season. We move you the back way: private funicular access, then our V-Class to the marina entrance reserved for charter guests only, with luggage transferred separately.
On return, your driver waits at the dock, your hotel keys are in the glove box, your bags are already on board the boat — there is no hotel reception loop.
The Itinerary Most Operators Will Not Book
Standard charter itineraries follow the postcards: Marina Piccola, Faraglioni, Grotta Azzurra. We offer variants : early morning swimming at the Faraglioni (6:30–8am, before the day boats), private lunch at Da Adolfo in Praiano with helicopter pickup if you don't want the boat ride back, dinner at Pietro Antonio's table (yes, that one) on the cliffs above Marina Grande accessible only by tender from the bay.
For the operationally serious, we coordinate Capri-Ischia-Procida triangulation in a single day, with the boat positioning itself ahead of you while you visit a single island per stop.
Captain & Crew
The boat is delivered with the captain who knows your day. Not the rotating freelancer the broker assigns. We work with twelve named captains who hold permanent crews and who earn their place on our roster by year-three retention rate. The chef is selected based on your dietary brief — we have arrangements with three Capri kitchens (Da Paolino, Le Grottelle, La Fontelina) for in-villa or yacht-side prep.
All staff sign NDA. Photo policy is enforced — no crew photos with principals, no social media tagging.
Cost & Reservation
Day rates start at €4,500 (Riva 38 Rivamare, 8h, captain + fuel) and reach €28,000 (Wajer 55 with crew of three, full provisioning). All rates exclude restaurant tabs, helicopter pickups, and APA. Quotes are firm and itemized — no surprises in the disembarkation envelope.
Lead time : 30 days in May, 60 days in June and September, 90 days in July–August. Inside 30 days during peak we work the wait list and the off-grid fleet — we never accept a charter we cannot deliver to standard.
