Forte dei Marmi (10,000 permanent residents) occupies a specific tier of Italian resort life that is difficult to replicate: small enough that privacy is structurally guaranteed, prestigious enough that the wait list for a seasonal bagno (beach concession) runs 5-8 years. The resort's main commercial street, Via Carducci, is lined with flagship boutiques (Loro Piana, Cucinelli, Zegna, Ferragamo) catering to the villa-owning families who have summered here since the 1930s.
FFGR Italia's Forte dei Marmi mandate covers: arrivals from PSA airport (30 min by Rolls-Royce Ghost), private villa sourcing for stays of 7-28 nights (€12,000-€80,000/week depending on size and season), daily transfers between villa and beach club, evening restaurant logistics, and northward connections to Cinque Terre or Portofino by ground or private boat.
Lorenzo | The Beach Club That Defines the Address
Bagno Lorenzo (Viale Italico 14) has been the definitive beach club in Forte dei Marmi since 1954. Umbrella and sunbed sets are reserved on annual family contracts: same position, same number, same generation, year after year. The waiting list for a new contract is effectively closed. FFGR Italia holds access arrangements that allow our clients to use Lorenzo's facilities on a day-pass basis without contract.
The adjacent Ristorante Lorenzo (also family-managed since 1954, 1 Michelin star) is one of the most difficult reservations in Versilia. Chef Marcello Landi's signature dishes include raw Viareggio red prawns, hand-rolled trofie with Ligurian pesto, and a grilled branzino whole-baked in sea salt. Summer peak: 6-8 weeks advance. Villa Logistics | Forte dei Marmi Summer Architecture
The Forte dei Marmi villa stock consists almost entirely of early-to-mid 20th-century Liberty-style buildings hidden behind pine forest and high hedges. Externally invisible from the street: you navigate by gate number, not by address. Most are managed by discrete private agencies (not listed on public platforms) and rented only through introduction.
We maintain relationships with three Forte dei Marmi villa management offices. For clients briefing us 90+ days in advance, we can source 4- to 8-bedroom properties in the pineta zone (pine forest belt between Via Carducci and the beach): the most private and most requested tier. July-August availability requires 6-month advance planning minimum.
Pisa Airport (PSA) | Versilia's Private Aviation Gateway
Galileo Galilei International Airport (PSA) handles commercial and charter traffic. The Aviazione Generale terminal (southwest apron) accommodates business jets up to BBJ size. FFGR Italia meets clients airside, we hold apron access permission from the airport authority. Transfer from PSA to Forte dei Marmi: 30 minutes by Rolls-Royce Ghost on the A12 coastal motorway.
For clients arriving at FLR (Florence, 1h10) or MXP (Milan, 2h15), the ground route is standard. Helicopter transfer from MXP to the Versilia coast (La Spezia helipad or Viareggio beach strip, weather-dependent) takes 40 minutes. We coordinate the helicopter-to-car relay for seamless arrival.
