If you are a department store buyer, a multi-brand boutique owner, or a personal shopper attending Milan Fashion Week with a real budget, this guide is for you. The runway is the public face — the showroom appointments are where the season is bought. This guide explains the logistics that determine whether you place 12 orders in three days or six.
The Real Schedule
MFW Women's Spring/Summer runs late September. The official runway calendar is 60 shows over 6 days. The buyer calendar is 80 showroom appointments over 8 days, starting 2 days before the first runway and continuing 2 days after the last. Most buyers underestimate this and book flights too tight on each end.
The Quadrilatero (Montenapo, Spiga, Sant'Andrea, Manzoni) holds the press showrooms. The real action — Brera, Tortona, Porta Genova, the Navigli — is where independent designers and small Italian houses present. A buyer covering all four districts on the same day burns 90 minutes in transit if they take taxis. With our chauffeur on standby, that drops to 30 minutes total — meaning four extra appointments in the day.
Standby Versus Per-Trip
Most chauffeur services charge by trip. For Fashion Week buyers, that pricing model loses you money. We charge daily standby (€680 + tip, 10 hours, including driver lunch). The driver waits outside your appointment — including the appointments where you say 'I will be 10 minutes' and emerge 90 minutes later.
Our drivers carry your sample bags, your rolling rack of look pulls, and the pop-up garment bag for the moments when a brand sends you home with a dress. The S-Class trunk holds approximately 4 medium garment bags or 8 sample boxes. The V-Class doubles that.
Hotel — Where to Actually Stay
The Bulgari Hotel, the Mandarin, and the Four Seasons are the three buyer hotels. The Bulgari has the best showroom proximity (8 minutes walk to Montenapo). The Four Seasons has the largest rooms (you will need them — sample garments do not pack flat). The Mandarin has the best concierge for showroom add-ons.
For frequency-collected partners, we maintain agreements with all three hotels for valet bypass — your driver pulls into the Bulgari porte cochère, the doorman recognizes the plate, and the wait time is zero.
Show Tickets — The Reality
Buyer access to runway shows is determined by the brand's PR agency 8 weeks in advance. We do not place buyers in shows we do not have the relationship for. We do, however, run a discreet seat-swap network during the week — buyers who get a Prada ticket and not a Versace ticket can sometimes be matched with the inverse. WhatsApp +33 7 43 46 14 91 if you need to redistribute.
Front-row seats are not for sale. They are political. We do not pretend otherwise.
Cost — Realistic Numbers
8 days standby Mercedes S-Class : €5,440. Same with V-Class : €6,720. Same with Sprinter VIP for buyer + 4 staff : €8,800. Linate transfer per direction : €180. Malpensa : €260.
We accept Fashion Week mandates 60 days out for guaranteed S-Class availability. Inside 30 days during MFW we cannot guarantee — the city sells out. Off-season (resort week, June pre-fall) : 14 days suffice.
