The Regatta Calendar | When to Be at Porto Cervo
The YCCS regatta calendar peaks in September: the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup (maxi-class, IRC Overall Rating), the Rolex Swan Cup (biennale, 2026 edition), and the Perini Navi Cup (ketch and schooner classics) are the three events that drive the September market. In June, the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta attracts the 40-80m Wally, Baltic, and Perini Navi fleet that finds August too commercial.
Owners and guests attending regattas need a logistics infrastructure that covers: OLB arrivals in a 6-hour window on embarkation day, hotel allocation for crew (Arzachena properties, not Porto Cervo prices), provisioning coordination, and a ground vehicle available at the marina at all hours for shore excursions. The yacht captain does not arrange this. We do.
The Ground Logistics Most Captains Cannot Handle
A 60-metre superyacht arriving in Porto Cervo Marina on August 1st has: 12 crew members who need accommodation in Arzachena or Olbia when the owner is aboard and using all cabin space, a medical emergency protocol that requires a Sardinian clinic with English-speaking staff (Clinica Città di Olbia is the reference), a provisioning run to the Conad Superstore in Arzachena (the only shop on the island with the range of a continental supermarket), and a daily chauffeur account for owner shore excursions.

Piazzetta Porto Cervo | Shopping the Right Way
The Porto Cervo Piazzetta concentrates Loro Piana, Bottega Veneta, Bulgari, Cartier, and 14 other maisons in a 200-metre radius. The boutiques operate standard hours (10:00-13:00, 16:30-21:00) but VIP appointments, private viewing of archive pieces, access to limited-edition items not on display, are arranged through the local luxury concierge network. We are part of it.
Loro Piana's Porto Cervo boutique carries four pieces exclusive to the Costa Smeralda location each season: a linen-and-vicuña blend blazer, a storm system anorak in local granite grey, and two accessories that will not appear in the mainline catalogue. Identification requires knowing what to ask and who to ask.
The Billionaire | Table Reservation Strategy
The Billionaire Club (Porto Cervo, founded by Flavio Briatore in 1998) operates a restaurant (dinner 8pm-11pm), a disco (midnight-5am), and a beach club. Table minimum in August: €2,000-€5,000 per table depending on night. The guest list is by introduction, not by application. The reservation window that matters: Tuesday and Thursday evenings in July are marginally less pressured than weekends. The key introduction is not to the maître d', it is to the evening's host.

A client request submitted on Monday can typically produce a Thursday table confirmation for the same week. We do not guarantee every request: the Billionaire has its own schedule, but we convert at a rate that walk-in attempts cannot approach.
After Porto Cervo | The Circuit That Few Complete
Porto Cervo is the entry point, not the destination. The full Costa Smeralda circuit in July: Porto Cervo Piazzetta (3 days), Baia Sardinia (1 day, calmer water for swimming, Ristorante Il Pescatore for grilled spigola), Cannigione marina (1 night, the real town, fishermen's bar, no tourists), La Maddalena by boat (1 day, Spargi Cala Corsara, Budelli anchorage), back to OLB.
The Rolls-Royce Ghost moves between each leg. The boat changes at Palau for the La Maddalena segment. The Villa in Liscia di Vacca or Razza di Junco is the base throughout. We coordinate the full rotation as a single mandate: not a series of individual bookings.
